Bogus Basin’s first big powder day of 2013! The measurements said 10 inches over a 24 hour period, and there was more than that on the stuff we were skiing. This was about as good as it gets at Bogus! Well, the day didn’t start out so good, (ask me about the hike out of chair 3 sometime). All the High Speed Quads were shut down due to icing and the big backside lifts were 2.5 hours late. BUT, once we got going it was worth it!!!
I hooked up with BJ Gleason and we had a great time getting first tracks in some places and plenty of deep powder all over the mountain. These are the type of days that we powder junkies live for!
